What makes them different

We don't just find you an EA. We keep training them.

Most agencies place an assistant and disappear. Yours enrols in the Goodwork Accelerator's AI & Automation track: two sessions a month where we map how you actually work and build the automations with them — inbox triage, scheduling, briefing docs, travel, recurring reporting. The goal is one to three automations live every quarter.

And we can charge less without doing less. Goodwork is an AI-native agency: automation carries the volume — sourcing, parsing, scheduling, first-pass scoring — while our recruiters spend their hours where judgement actually matters, on screening calls, assessment design and the shortlist. Every campaign still gets around 100 hours of human recruiter time. It just goes further, and the price reflects that.

Typical recruiter

  • 20–25% of first-year salary
  • Generalists placing across every function
  • Places the hire and moves on
  • 90-day guarantee
  • Pricing on request

Goodwork

  • AI-native process, human judgement
  • Flat fee, not a % of compensation
  • Tested on real inbox and calendar tasks
  • Ongoing AI training after they start
  • Guarantee stays active while enrolled
  • Prices published on this page

The Accelerator is a separate monthly subscription — more on it below.

Our fees. Flat either way.

These are what we charge to run the search and place the hire — a one-time flat fee, not a percentage of their compensation and not the compensation itself.

Remote offshore

Our fee

From USD $2,000

~2–6 weeks · guarantee varies by tier

From a pool of 700,000+ vetted professionals. Executive support is remote work — this is where most founders should start.

Local

Our fee

From USD $9,000

~6 weeks · 6-month guarantee

North America, UK, Australia and the EU. For roles that need same-timezone coverage, on-site presence, or handling physical logistics.

Recommended path: Start offshore. The pool is far larger and the search is faster. Go local only when the role truly requires someone on the ground.

Keep them improving

The Goodwork Accelerator

Post-hire training that develops your hire into an expert — and keeps your quality guarantee active for as long as they're enrolled. Three tracks: AI & Automation, EOS, and Performance. A separate monthly subscription per hire.

The process

Rigorous. End-to-end. Quality guaranteed.

An EA either takes work off your plate or adds to it, and a CV won't tell you which. So we test it: inbox triage, calendar conflicts, a briefing doc, and written judgement calls — with assessments built to be AI-resistant. What you're seeing is the candidate's ability, not a chatbot's.

1

A rich application built for your role — CV, LinkedIn, role-specific written questions, and language and communication samples. Every applicant answers the same questions so you can compare fairly.

2

Every application is reviewed. Our team builds a shortlist and actively advocates for strong candidates you might have passed over.

3

A 20-minute video screening call with every shortlisted candidate — professionalism, communication, compensation alignment, and anything that didn't come through in writing.

4

Your interviews, coordinated by our team — on-site or by video, structured with evidence-based guides we provide.

5

A custom practical assessment designed for the role: auto-graded take-home test with anti-AI safeguards, or a paid trial. We help design, structure, and coordinate it. Tests evaluate hard skills and the soft skills that matter for the role. Local candidates are compensated for their time.

6

Professional reference checks from past managers. Then an onboarding call from our team before they start.

Common questions

Can't AI just do this?

Some of it, yes — that's the point. What's left is the part that needs a person: deciding what to run, checking what comes back, and knowing when the answer is confidently wrong. That's who we place.

How is this different from a VA?

A VA follows the SOP. This is the person who notices the SOP is out of date. Different tier, different screen, different price.

We've been burned by an AI vendor before.

Fair — most people we talk to have. We're not selling you a tool or a promise. We're placing a person, with a six-month guarantee, and you can start with a paid assessment before committing to anything.

Which support roles do you place?

Executive assistants, personal assistants, administrative assistants, chiefs of staff support, and operations coordinators. We match the profile to how you actually work rather than a generic job title.

Offshore or local for an EA?

Offshore works for most founders — calendar, inbox, research and coordination are remote work. Go local when you need same-timezone coverage all day, on-site presence, or physical logistics handled.

How do you test EA ability?

Inbox triage, calendar conflict resolution, a briefing doc, and written judgement calls. An EA either takes work off your plate or adds to it — the assessment is designed to show which.

What does “AI-trained” actually mean?

Your hire enrols in the Goodwork Accelerator's AI & Automation track. Two sessions a month: one teaching the AI and automation possibilities for their role, one building the automation with them live. The goal is one to three working automations every quarter.

Is the AI training included in the placement fee?

No. It's a separate monthly subscription per hire, and plenty of clients place someone without it. While a hire is enrolled, your quality guarantee stays active — see the Accelerator page for current pricing.

How is this different from a typical recruiter?

Most charge 20–25% of first-year salary, which means they earn more the higher the package they negotiate. We charge a flat fee that doesn't move. We also publish our prices, which almost nobody does.

What does the flat fee cover?

Everything: the search, the full vetting process, shortlist delivery, reference checks, and the guarantee. Nothing scales with compensation.

How long does it take?

Offshore Ready-to-Hire is around two weeks. Custom offshore searches and all local searches are around six weeks.

Tell us how you work. We'll find the EA.

Flat fee, not a percentage of compensation. Quality guarantee, and AI training that keeps it active.
